The following General terms and Conditions of use, govern the use of, access to, and purchase of products manufactured and shipped from Colombia section of www.ameliatoro.com (the "Colombian Site").  Our site is available only for purchases made and delivered within the United States.  

Your use of the Amelia Toro site to purchase merchandise indicates your agreement to follow and to be bound by these general terms and conditions of Use. If you do not agree to these General Terms and Conditions of Use, please do not use our site.  We reserve the right to apply any changes to our Terms and Conditions at all times. 

All registered users will be notified of such alterations via email and/or via our internal messaging feature. Users have the right to terminate their account if they do not comply with such changes. You agree to such changes if continue using our Services at least for a month after such modifications have been published by us.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALES

Orders & Products

All orders are subject to email confirmation by us. Please note that the products displayed on our site may be out-of-stock or discontinued, and availability is not guaranteed. Please note that while we have tried to accurately display the colors of products, the actual colors you see will depend on your monitor and may not be accurate.

Prices

Prices may change without notice from time to time.  The total amount due is inclusive of sales tax applied in accordance with applicable state and local regulations based on your shipping address.

The applicable sales tax amount is indicated on the payment page of the cart.

The amount of sales tax charged on your order will depend upon various factors, including type of item purchased, sales price and destination of the shipment. Sales tax regulations may change between the time you place an order and the time of credit card charge authorization and this may affect the calculation of sales taxes. 

The amount appearing on your payment page of the cart may differ from the sales taxes ultimately charged as indicated in the invoice you will receive with the shipping confirmation email.

The total price doesn't include customs and import duties.

Shipping Costs

Shipping rates are calculated at the end of the checkout.  

 

Shipments and Delivery

You can find detailed shipping costs at checkout.

We will deliver your order in 10-12 business days for international orders.

At the checkout you can select the  Expedited shipping.

Delivery times begin one business day after the order is placed. 

There may be local taxes and duties for your order depending on the destination country, you will be required to pay taxes and duties to the courier at the time of delivery.  

If you are required to pay duties, our courier will contact you, once your order arrives its destination. Please contact your local customs office or the courier for more information, if you have any questions regarding these duties.

Once your order is dispatched to your address, you will receive a shipment confirmation email with a tracking number. 

For security reasons, Amelia Toro online purchases will require a signature upon delivery.

Upon delivery, please make sure that the number of boxes delivered are as stated on the delivery confirmation document, and that the package is not damaged in any way. Any damage to the packaging and/or the product or any discrepancy between the numbers of boxes delivered should be immediately notified by indicating in writing on the courier’s delivery documents.

 Shipping Restrictions

At this time, we are unable to ship orders to General Delivery P.O. Boxes, Poste Restante. Orders made to any of these addresses, will be cancel.

For security reasons, Amelia Toro online purchases will require a signature upon delivery.

You may purchase products on www.ameliatoro.com site only for personal use and not for resale. By placing your order, you certify that you are purchasing products for personal use only and not for resale and you accept our General Terms and Conditions of Sale

WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE ORDERS FOR ANY REASON WITHOUT EXPLANATION.

From the item page, select the desired color and size of the product. 

Size Guide 

The size shown on the item's label is indicated on every Product Page and converted into your country's corresponding size. To search for the size that interests you, please use our Size Chart, which should help you find the right fit with an indicative value, from 0 to 12, which we use to group all different sizes together in one system.

  1. Add the product to your shopping bag.
  2. Once you have finished shopping, click on shopping bag.
  3. Select a shipping method and a payment method.
  4. Enter your shipping details and on the following page, your payment details.
  5. Check that the information you entered is correct and click "purchase”.
  6. You will receive a confirmation email with the details of your order.
  7. From this moment on our warehouse will take care of everything and as soon as the order ships we will notify you with another confirmation email.

 

Location and Currency

If you are located outside Colombia, you will be able to see our prices in USD. If you are in Colombia, you will see our prices in COP.

Payment methods

We accept Credit or Debit Card: Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and American Express.

Payments can also be made using PayPal, our worldwide partner. Payments made inside Latin America, are received through PayU.

Please consider that transactions effected outside Colombia are in US Dollars. Transactions effected in Colombia are in COP.



Payment security

Payment is 100% secure.  When you make a payment, you will see a padlock next to the URL in your browser.

We never keep any of your bank account details. Transactions on our website are handled by a secure payment platform.

Invoices

Your invoices are visible on the ‘My Account/My Orders’ page.  Click on the order to download the pdf invoice. We will send your invoice to your email account.

 

Return & Refunds

You have 8 days as of the date your order is delivered to return any items. Please make sure the merchandise you return is in its original condition, tags and packaging included, otherwise we will be unable to accept your return. Due to merchandising restrictions, all returns must be shipped from the same country where they were purchased.

Once we receive the package, the return process will take between 8 to 10 business days. When the return has been accepted, your refund will be issued to the original payment method, net of taxes, duties and freights payed. At your request, we can issue the refund in store credit. Once credited to your account, you will receive a confirmation email.

If your return does not meet the conditions listed above, the package will be sent back to you at your expense, including applicable taxes, freights and custom duties. 

 

Cancellation

You have 2 days to cancel your purchase after the order has been generated.

You must notify clientservice@ameliatoro.com of your cancellation request. Once your request is approved, you will be informed via email and the refund process will begin, which will last between 8 and 10 business days. This will be done with the initial payment method, discounting the taxes, amounts and freight that have been paid. If you wish, we can transfer your refund to a credit in our store.

After the refund is finished, we will send a confirmation email.

Clothes in Sale

Clearance or sale cannot be returned or exchanged.

Exchange

Please make sure you check your size using our size and measurement guides to avoid any mistakes when placing your order. 

You will be responsible for paying any taxes, freights and custom duties associated with any exchanges or returns.

If, however, your item does not fit you as expected, items can be exchange for a different size during the 8 days after your order is delivered.

Please email our Client Service account clientservice@ameliatoro.com before shipping the order back to us to confirm availability and to select a replacement size from those available. Please make sure that the merchandise you are exchanging is in its original condition, tags and packaging included, otherwise we will be unable to accept your exchange.

If your exchange does not meet the conditions listed above, the package will be returned to the original shipping address at your expense, including applicable taxes, freights and custom duties. 

When the exchange has been accepted, we will ship your item within the following 8 business days. Applicable taxes, freights and custom duties will be at your expense.  You will receive a shipping confirmation email when the package has been dispatched.

Items can only be exchanged once. 

Faulty Items

Goods are classified as faulty, if they are damaged upon receipt. Items that are damaged as a result of normal wear and tear are not considered to be faulty.
